Donna Wilde is known for her compelling and emotive performance style. She captures the essence of a song in her own unique way, delivering an unforgettably heartfelt message that resonates deeply with her audiences.
Donna started singing at the age of three, studying piano at eight, and added the saxophone when she was twelve. She was raised in Wisconsin, where she was active in many school, church and community productions.
After earning her music degree at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls, Donna landed her first full-time gig as a member of the show band on board the Carnival Cruise Lines ship Imagination. In 2000 she moved to Phoenix and joined the original Funk band “Knee Deep Experience.” A few years later she headed to Minnesota, where she recorded a 2005 album entitled Atmosphere (produced by renowned Minneapolis producer and musician Tony Axtell) with collaborator Laura Snyder of “Bellatrex.” The year 2008 brought her back to the Valley of the Sun where she joined forces with pianist Todd Luckey and founded the music publishing company called DT Music. Currently, Donna writes and records music with pianist Richard Palalay and Leaning Mirror Productions. Together as "WildeP'lay," they released their 2019 debut album entitled Fabric of Love.
